Always striving to become outstanding, taking risks, to allow our community to Thrive, Believe, Persevere and Succeed. Our school offers a wealth of resources and activities which will prepare children for the next generation of learning…
All of the staff at Tor Bridge Primary School are extremely excited to welcome all children back to their classrooms tomorrow.
🧬🧪Miss. King has arranged fantastic ‘British Science Week’ celebrations and we are delighted that your children can return to school next week to such exciting learning experiences, with the opportunity to speak to many different scientific experts too.
🏫 As our classrooms will continue to remain well-ventilated please make sure all children bring their school jumpers to school.
Please remember to wear a face mask, follow the one-way system and adhere to social distancing when you are on site.
What do we do if the school jumper doesn't fit? I can't order another one as it's the biggest one the company does but the arms are too short and it's like a belly top as my son is nearly as tall as me 😬
In true Tor Bridge Primary School style we didn’t let anything get in the way of our World Book Day (UK & Ireland) celebrations this year. Here are some highlights from our vocabulary themed day where children both in school and at home spent the day exploring ‘The Lost Words.’ We took part in live author events, made illustrations in the style of Jackie Morris and our staff even made visits to children’s doorsteps to bring them fantastic World Book Day prizes! 📚🍂
2MK, 1NC and RLR enjoyed their Virtual Catch Ups today! We played the Generation Game and also went on a scavenger hunt to find our school uniform, bookbags and school shoes ready for our return on Monday! ... See MoreSee Less

Finally, thank you so much for all your engagement in our 'Masked Reader' competitions, we are so glad you found them as enjoyable to watch as we found making them for you.
We hope you enjoy all our activities linked to World Book Day and ask you to upload lots of pictures to Class Dojo, so that we can see all the wonderful things you are doing at home to celebrate. ... See MoreSee Less
Please see below our second very special 'Masked Reader', can you guess who they might be? We think that being an author sounds like a fantastic job and we bet that many of our wonderful Tor Bridge Primary School students will have best sellers on the shelves one day too! ... See MoreSee Less
